Folding Pipe Repair Clamp

Description

Our folding pipe repair clamp is a heavy-duty stainless steel fitting designed for fast emergency pipeline leak repair. Its unique hinged folding structure makes installation much easier than traditional split clamps. You can wrap the clamp directly around the leaking pipe section without removing surrounding pipe fittings or cutting off the pipeline for long shutdowns.

We manufacture the housing with SS304 or SS316 stainless steel, delivering strong corrosion resistance for underground and above-ground water networks. The inner sealing gasket is high-quality EPDM rubber, which offers stable sealing performance, ageing resistance and compliance with drinking water applications. WRAS certification is available upon request for water supply projects.

This folding repair clamp works for multiple pipe materials, including ductile iron, steel, PVC, PE and HDPE pipes. It fixes pinholes, longitudinal cracks and small fractures on pipelines. Only simple hand tools are required for installation. Just clean the damaged pipe surface, place the folding clamp over the leak area and tighten the bolts to create a full circumferential seal.

Installation Steps

1. Clean and dry the damaged pipe surface, removing rust, dirt and loose debris.
2. Open the folding clamp and place it around the leak section, aligning the rubber gasket to fully cover the damaged area.
3. Hand-tighten the bolts evenly, then torque them gradually in a cross sequence to avoid gasket shifting.
4. Test the pipeline and check for residual leakage before restoring full operating pressure.
